CloseThe Gheens Planetarium gate is a unique triangle shape, comprised of artistically designed galvanized steel rods and arcs. The curved arch in the gate mimics a planet, adding interest to the sharp corners of the triangular gate. Galvanized steel will protect this gate from its constant exposure to the outdoor elements, including rain, snow, wind, and sun, and potentially corrosive de-icing salts in the winter time. The attractive, matte-gray appearance looks very contemporary, and matches the aesthetics of the building. Galvanized steel will keep this gateway from rusting, and preserve it as an attractive entrance for visitors to the planetarium.
