While this project was initially slated for painting, a marketing presentation by the galvanizer personel convinced the project engineer to commision a cost analysis before finalizing the corrosion protection system. As you can imagine, the analysis clearly demonstrated hot-dip galvanizing was the best choice, notably for performance and life-cycle cost.
