The Champions Run Golf Course hosts the annual Cox Classic in Omaha, NE, and needed a long lasting, permanent scoreboard that would require little or no maintenance.
Visibility by the public required an aesthetically appealing look for the project, making hot-dipped galvanized steel the ideal choice for the new scoreboard. Galvanizing the frame allowed it to stand corrosion-free while reducing or eliminating maintenance costs for over 75 years. The superior barrier and cathodic protection of galvanized steel means no chipping, rusting, or other degradation will be seen, making the scoreboard visually appealing, and allowing it to stand the test of time.
