CloseThe new scoreboard/video screen was installed at the NASCAR Bristol Motor Speedway in 2004. All of the structural frame components, catwalk, and pole were galvanized. Galvanizing was specified because of its appearance, longevity, and maintenance-free qualities. The galvanized coating was consistent with other fixtures at the track, and galvanizing eliminated the expensive and difficult maintenance that would have been required with other coatings. The use of galvanizing will ensure NASCAR fans can enjoy races at Bristol Motor Speedway for years to come.
