This magnificent sculpture by artist Leslie Bruning combined the corrosion protection and aesthetic appeal of hot dip galvanizing. Galvanized in 9 separate pieces, the sculpture adorns the Garden of the Senses at the Henry Doorly Zoo and actually provides a climbing path for vines planted in the garden. The zinc coating is friendly to the plants and was selected because it must be maintenance-free.
