When specifying the project, the specification called for a paint coating guaranteed for 5 years or for a duplex system. The specifier believed the best approach was to paint over galvanizing to ensure aesthetic appeal and corrosion protection. By selecting the combination coating, instead of a 5 year life, the owner can now look forward to decades of protection.
