In May 2024, Amanda-Clearcreek Local Schools broke ground on a transformative $22-million, multi-phase District Improvement Project designed to elevate athletics, learning environments, and community engagement. The project was completed in October 2025 and includes new concessions and batting cage facilities, a K-2 classroom addition, and a state-of-the-art field house. The 30,000-square-foot field house features a 2,820-square-foot weight room, three basketball courts, a volleyball court, and a second-story walking track with elevator access. Expansive windows overlook the campus, the athletic fields, and newly built amenities, creating a bright, connected environment ready to host AAU basketball, travel volleyball, and year-round student and community activities.

The fabricator partnered closely with the galvanizer throughout the eight-month schedule, maintaining clear communication with inside sales and operations to ensure steady, on-time deliveries that supported each construction phase. Hot-dip galvanizing was selected for its proven durability, long-term corrosion protection, and the life-cycle value it provides for high-traffic public environments. The system’s sustainability and low maintenance needs made it the ideal choice for a school district focused on long-term stewardship of its facilities. A duplex system, galvanizing followed by a painted finish, was utilized to meet both performance and aesthetic goals. This combination provides extended corrosion protection and a polished visual identity aligned with Amanda-Clearcreek’s branding. Galvanized and painted components include exterior railing for the K-2 classroom addition, the Aces entry gate, and the campus signage celebrating the district’s State Champion and State Runner-Up programs in football, cross country, and track. In total, approximately 1,100 linear feet of railing and associated steel elements were galvanized, ensuring these high-visibility features will remain safe, attractive, and structurally sound for decades.
