Portable water and waste separators undergo extremely corrosive environments. It is essential they stay together in order to function properly. The drum separators, small structural beams and, lentils receive the majority of corrosive abuse.
Hot-dip galvanizing (HDG) was a necessity In order to keep these parts protected and to avoid maintenance. Wastewater separators were previously painted and composed of expensive stainless material. When the project manager discovered the quality and cost savings of HDG, he switched to galvanizing. Unsurprisingly, he is very happy with his selection. While the Wastewater Separator continues to remove waste from water, the galvanized coating will continue to keep the effects of rust away from the machine for decades.
