This unique enclosed bicycle shelter and secure storage building is the first phase of a very interesting concept. The regional health authority for the Two Mountains region just outside of Montreal which manages all of the health care facilities (including hospital, health centers etc.), has initiated this program to combine the benefits of sustainable development and healthy lifestyles. This project, installed at the St. Eustache hospital, is only the first step in what will include similar structures at all of its facilities. All structures utilize galvanized steel because it responds well to the green vision of the health facility. Hot-dip galvanizing was chosen for its durability and aesthetics, as well as its superior performance in terms of sustainable design.
