This award represents the State of Virginis's County Bridges, specified and installed in three different Counties (Prince George, Halifax, Rockbridge) by the State. For more than 20 years they have gone completely away from Weathering Steel, and Painted Structures, for these beautiful Galvanized Truss Bridges in some of the most picturesque parts of the Country. While submitting them separately would not give credit to the State, or show the commitment, it was decided to submit the State of Virginia and recognize the dedication to Hot Dip Galvanizing they have with their bridges.
