In the agricultural industry, harsh conditions and time can take their toll on farm equipment, fencing, gates, and machinery. The industry utilizes equipment based upon current needs and climate seasons which leads to consistant idle time for machinery. This idle time and atmoshpheric exposure creates premature failures due to corrision, leading directly to impact of profitability when replacements are needed. The Silencer Chute was no exception to this rule with additional exposure to animal waste, so the need for hot-dip galvanizing (HDG) was even greater. HDG provides lifelong protection with little impact to profitibility.
