The resort wanted to replace the old wood racks with more durable, long lasting steel.
The ski resort hired a local steel fabricator to make new ski board racks for the upcoming season. The resort wanted to replace the old wood racks with more durable, long lasting steel. The fabricator recommended to the resort owners that they hot-dip galvanize the new racks so that they are more durable and maintenance free for the seasons to come. The resort contacted the local galvanizer in order to gather more information about the coating and pair the galvanizing team with the local steel shop in order to properly design and build the new racks. The project was a success and the resort owner is now sold on hot-dip galvanizing for all their future steel upgrades on the property in the future.
