Notre Dame Observation Towers

Providing coaches with a birds eye view of their practicing athletes, the Notre Dame Observation Towers loom fifty feet over the practice field. Harsh south bend winters and heavy foot traffic called for corrosion protection that couldnt be beat. After comparing of life cycle cost and sustainability, a major concern at Notre Dame, specifiers chose to hot-dip galvanize the 25 tons of steel used for the project. Initially there were plans to paint the towers, but after admiring the flawless application of HDG the owners decided to leave them plain. With galvanized steel keeping the watch towers structurally safe and untouched by corrosion, Notre Dame coaches will be able to fine-tune the teams efforts for decades to come.
