CloseSitting along the edge of Mt. Washington on Grandview Avenue, this location is considered one of the most beautiful city views in the country. It overlooks Pittsburghs Golden Triangle, where the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela River form the Ohio River. The citys many bridges and skyscrapers can be viewed here, as well as Point State Park's 150 fountain and the stadiums for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. It can be accessed from the historic Duquesne Incline and is within walking distance of many of the citys finest restaurants.
Hot-dip galvanizing was chosen for this project because it provided the best value to the end-user who was installing the product at a high-end rental property. They wanted a coating that was durable and had a long life-span with little to no maintenance. The fabricator preferred galvanizing to painting because of its reliability and quick turnaround.
