Span-Tech is Hawkeye Steels fabric building line which was internally developed starting in 1995. Their buildings are popular for storage of corrosive materials such as fertilizer, salt and composting animal wastes. Buildings are used for storage of any kind of equipment or materials, grain storage, hay storage, equine riding arenas and for animal production including cattle feeding. Open span widths (with no interior supports) of up to 200 feet are manufactured.
Hawkeye steel chooses to Hot Dip Galvanize their products because of the corrosive environment they will be exposed to. Driving across the American Midwest, you will see thousands of these hoop buildings. Farmers across America have started building Span-Tech buildings for their cost efficiency and multipurpose. The Span Tech hoop building is really the Swiss army knife of buildings. The ingenuity of this building having no interior supports allows for massive open space for farmers to store grain, livestock, fertilizers and even their largest equipment. The impact this building has made on the hot dip galvanizing market has been tremendous. With consistent year over year growth, we will continue to see a rise in the span tech hoop building across the Midwest. This specific building is for Morgan Composting, Inc.
