The architect chose to use a duplex system as he was trying to make the crown/canopy visually appealing while improving the durability since it will be subject to the elements throughout the year in a highly visible location.
The most challenging aspect of this project was due to the size of the structure. The galvanizer had to perform a progressive hot-dip, which added some additional challenges for the painter. This is a highly visible structure, as it is located off a busy road with numerous stores located in the same area.
