The Kodiak Ferry dock is located on the waterfront of Kodiak, Alaska in Kodiak-Chenega Bay. The 126 tons of steel to create this dock was galvanized to ensure maximum long term corrosion resistance on steel which is submerged in salt water 100% of the time.
As a multi use dock, it is a place to load and unload ferry riders, fishing gear and transfer bulk fuel.
