The company has taken a very aggressive position regarding quality assurance and food safety, making it no place for corrosion to exist. Hot-dip galvanizing has been called upon many times for allow maintenance, cost effective means of corrosion resistance in the plant. HDG has been used for years here in corrosion resistance, whenever stainless steel is not required by the USDA. The HDG coating provided the additional abrasion resistance needed for this high-traffic staircase, and turned over on time.
