CloseTurnaround time for this project had to be quick so the structure could be completed before the next hurricane season. Each modular safehouse sits atop a 20-ft. galvanized steel structure built to withstand 250 MPH winds. Hot-dip galvanizing meant the project could be completed quickly with minimum maintenance required in the future.
