Over 65 different parts were hot-dip galvanized to make up the arms and baskets for these utility repair trucks, including fork arms, man baskets, tool boxes and most of the components that attach the mechanism to the truck itself.
Each piece was redesigned so that it could be galvanized. As the public sees these trucks daily, they have been considered an unavoidable eyesore. Since the owner's reputation is based partly on the look of these trucks, hot-dip galvanizing was chosen as their corrosion prevention systemnow these trucks will look impeccable every time they appear at a repair site.
