There is always that one thing you do not like about a product. For many farmers, who utilize irrigation systems, that one thing was flat tires. No one wants to shut down their irrigation system, trample over their crop, and fix a flat tire. While some farmers were discussing their disdain for the deed, they were within earshot of Cornelius Loewen (1950-2015).
His wheels would be made of steel - eliminating the need to change tires.
He decided to do something about it. He researched the various types of irrigation systems that the farmers utilized. He came up with a design that fits around 90% of all irrigation systems. His wheels would be made of steel - eliminating the need to change tires. He wanted them to have a long life, so he decided to hot dip galvanize them for longevity. His special design does not get stuck in the mud, lasts decades longer than a tire, never goes flat, and, like most HDG products, is environmentally friendly.
There are no more tires to be burnt in a landfill. His product will last and will be recyclable. Cornelius is an immigrant from Chihuahua, Mexico. He made the American dream his reality. It is an amazing accomplishment for a small town farmer in Sublette, Kansas.
