The competitive world of custom trailers is constantly evolving. Through years of industry experience and a commitment to customer satisfaction, the owners and design team at D&K trailers recognized the need for a trailer that could satisfy multiple needs at the same time. In their quest for a design that could be successful in an evolving niche market, they knew hot dip galvanizing would be a priority and a factor in creating value for their customers.
The new trailer D&K designed offers customers multiple use versatility such as being able to haul equipment and tools along with a dump trailer. They are equipped with hydraulic controls and fully protected by hot-dip galvanizing. The available features and options are customizable, allowing customers to reduce their total number of trailers saving them time and money with added convenience. This niche market developed quickly from the landscaping business across the country and has quickly entered the utility, maintenance, and forestry markets as a leader in design and functionality.
D&K Trailers has realized the value of hot-dip galvanizing through years of experience specifying it for their other trailer designs; therefore, it was the obvious choice to protect their newest creation. Specifying hot-dip galvanizing has helped them sell the trailers in a diverse and sometimes changing geographical region as well as provided their customers with protection robust enough to stand the test of time. Hot Dip Galvanizing and their design have been a winning combination for D&K as they now sell upwards of 200 trailers per year out of their small shop.
