The statue was completed just in time for the school homecoming celebration, where it was proudly unveiled to the community. With time and materials donated, this project is not just a piece of art, but a representation of community pride. The utilization of over 750 used horseshoes shows the beauty of recycling and the use of hot-dip galvanizing means this statue will stand the test of time. This Mascot will cheer on the next several generations of Kicking Mules to attend Bedford High School.
This galvanized Mule guards the entrance to the football stadium, kicking up strength for the teams that will last a lifetime!
This remarkable statue was crafted entirely from used horseshoes, generously sourced from the local Amish community. The horse statue was designed and built by Toledo Twisted Iron for Bedford High School in Temperance, MI. As a meaningful local initiative, Toledo Twisted Iron donated both their time and materials to bring this project to life. In collaboration with the galvanizer, the two companies proudly supported the community they serve.
