Workover Derrick Structure

Hot-dip galvanizing participated in the rejuvenation of a 25-year-old Drilling Services Workover Rig for Nabos Industries. Galvanizing this telescoping structure enhanced safety through the reduction of continuous painting and upkeep of the derrick. With today’s price of oil, extending the life of existing workover rigs makes good business sense. This galvanized workover rig is currently working at the Thums Island Oil production project, where a thousand plus directional wells have been drilled. These wells are in constant need for additional stimulation that is provided by this hot-dip galvanized workover derrick structure. The project adds to the safety of the workover/drilling rig crew through the reduction of derrick maintenance in a highly corrosive oil and gas drilling environment. This derrick structure is constantly exposed to the highly corrosive oil and gas drilling industry.
