Cell Phone Tower Sites

Hot-dip galvanizing was chosen for these cell tower platform sites. These sites needed to hold up and maintain important phone equipment for the area's cell phone users. All are located outside and exposed to the elements of the four Chicago Midwest seasons. Durability of the corrosion protection hot-dip galvanizing offered more that off-set the cost of using painted or unfinished steel for this application.

These (12) cell tower platforms are placed on rooftops in the Chicago-land and surrounding areas, many of which are located on privately owned buildings and are visible to the public over the Chicago skyline. They needed to be clean looking and durable as not to degrade the buildings that they were install on.
